“What sweeter
music can we bring...
than a carol for to sing?”

We are the
Twelfth Night
Singers
... providing choral entertainment in a Renaissance style,
... performing for southeastern Michigan since 1980
Dressed in colorful Renaissance attire, we sing a wide range of a cappella
traditional Christmas music, from carol to wassail song, from Bach to
Burt to P.D.Q.
Bach and Anonymous. Outside the Christmas season, we perform madrigals
and other secular and religious music. We'll sing for a country club,
a bridge club, a Christmas party or a wedding. We have music appropriate
for a funeral or a memorial service. We sing in costume or appropriate
dress and in numbers from
four
to forty.
We've
performed in southeastern Michigan's finest private settings, including
Meadow Brook
Hall, the Detroit Athletic Club, the Country Club of Detroit, the Grosse
Pointe Club as well as public settings including William Beaumont
Hospital and Gilda's Club in Royal Oak, Noel Night at Detroit's New Center
area and numerous senior facilities.
Our music is memorized and mostly
unaccompanied. You'll hear and understand the words. You'll get the message
the song is communicating.
We're kid-friendly. During the holiday season, we often sprinkle children's
favorites into the list. And if a curious boy or girl comes close, the
child may end up wearing one of our hats or coronets. It's fun. And keep
a camera handy!

“Come, let your hearts be singing!
Joy o'er the earth is winging!”
